My name is Emilio Frigo and I am a second year student, currently studying Software Engineering at Bournemouth University. My interests all have one similarity: They revolve around the use of a computer. Whether it be playing video games, designing websites or trying to find the solution to different programming problems, the majority of my time has always been spent infront of a screen. This means I am constantly looking for new ways to expand my knowledge and challenge myself to complete problems with ever increasing difficulty.

Throughout my first year of university, I achieved consistently above a First Class classification, and finished the year with an overall average of 81.36%. Unfortunately, due to the online learning conditions I wasn't able to get involved with workshops and different learning opportunities as I had planned, and therefore looked elsewhere to expand my knowledge beyond what was taught. This is where I found Leetcode and FrontendMentor to be incredibly helpful in allowing me to attempt more complex tasks and learn independently.

I have a particularly strong interest in the field of software engineering, leaning towards web-based applications. Therefore for my second year I have chosen the modules: Web Programming and Application Programming. As this is also a topic of great interest to me.
